RFL in Detention Training for Volunteers at PRCS Sindh

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh Branch organized a three-day RFL in detention training PRCS Sindh at the Provincial Headquarters.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of volunteers in restoring family links (RFL) services

The RFL Manager Sindh, Deputy Director (RFL), and the ICRC team facilitated the sessions. A total of 17 participants attended, including the RFL Manager Punjab and RFLO from NHQ.

Moreover, the sessions focused on key RFL services such as Tracing Requests (TR), Red Cross Messages (RCM), Safe and Well Messages, and Free Phone Calls. 

In addition, the training covered essential aspects of detention work. These included data protection, confidentiality, and effective case management. Participants also took part in practical exercises, role plays, and group activities As a result, they improved their skills in interviewing, documentation, and reporting

Finally, the Provincial Secretary Sindh delivered the closing remarks. He appreciated the active participation of volunteers. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among all participants.
