MOU Between Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh and Al-Kawthar University for Skill-Based Education
The ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob (T.I.), who warmly welcomed Mr. Kanwar Waseem, Provincial Secretary of Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh. Dr. Mehboob congratulated the Red Crescent team on this historic collaboration, expressing optimism that the initiative will play a vital role in shaping the future of students by equipping them with practical and meaningful skills
In his keynote address, Mr. Kanwar Waseem highlighted the long-term benefits of the offered courses, explaining how they are designed to meet the emerging needs of communities, especially in the face of public health challenges and climate-related disasters. The curriculum is aligned with the humanitarian values and field experience of the Red Crescent, ensuring quality and relevance for university students
The Red Crescent team, including Shariq Khan, Dr. Hira, Khurrum Latif, and Zainul Arfin, was also present to provide insights into the course modules and implementation plans. The faculty members of Al-Kawthar University appreciated the initiative and pledged full support for its execution
