Condolence on the Demise of Iranian Red Crescent Volunteers

Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh Branch expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of an Iranian Red Crescent volunteer

The volunteer lost their life while performing humanitarian duties during the ongoing conflict in Iran.

Chairman Mr. Rehan Hashmi, Provincial Secretary Mr. Kanwar Waseem, and Media Coordinator Mr. R. Ahmed visited the Consulate of Iran in Karachi. They met with the Iranian Consul General H.E. Akbar Eissazadah and Vice Consul General Gholam Abbas. They conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of PRCS Sindh.

During the meeting, Chairman Rehan Hashmi strongly condemned the violation of the Geneva Convention. He stated that such actions threaten established rules of war and humanitarian principles. Moreover, he expressed serious concern over the indiscriminate bombing of civilians, hospitals, and schools.

In addition, he shared grief over the loss of the Iranian spiritual and religious leadership. He emphasized that such losses deeply affect the entire humanitarian community.
