PRCS Sindh and Sindh Solid Waste Management Launch Cleaning Drive at Sea View Clifton
On 14th September 2025, the (PRCS) Sindh, in collaboration with the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and partner NGOs, successfully organized a large-scale Cleaning Drive at Sea View, Clifton.
The campaign witnessed an exceptionally high participation of volunteers, who came together with passion and determination to protect the environment. With this huge volunteer force, the initiative was able to cover a much larger section of the coastline than usual, resulting in the removal of a significant amount of waste and debris.
The drive not only made a visible impact on the cleanliness of Sea View Beach but also highlighted the urgent need for community engagement in sustainable waste management and marine protection. Volunteers actively engaged beachgoers and local communities, raising awareness about reducing plastic use, avoiding littering, and adopting environmentally responsible practices.
This collaborative effort emphasized the importance of partnerships between humanitarian organizations, government bodies, and civil society in promoting public health and safeguarding natural resources.
PRCS Sindh reaffirmed its commitment to contributing towards a cleaner, healthier, and greener Karachi coastline through such impactful initiatives.
