RFL in Detention Training Conducted by PRCS Sindh for Volunteers at PHQ Karachi
The Restoring Family Links (RFL) Department of the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch successfully conducted a three-day RFL in Detention Training for volunteers at the Provincial Headquarters (PHQ) Karachi from 8th to 10th July 2025.
This capacity-building initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of volunteers in the field of RFL services, particularly in detention settings.
The training was facilitated by key personnel, including:
Manager Operations Sindh
RFL Manager Sindh
Health Coordinator Sindh
Deputy Director RFL – NHQ
Data Manager – ICRC
Protection Field Officer – ICRC
These experienced facilitators provided in-depth insights, practical guidance, and technical support to strengthen the RFL volunteer network across Sindh.
This training reflects PRCS Sindh’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its humanitarian response and ensure effective implementation of Restoring Family Links programs in line with international humanitarian principles.
During the closing ceremony, the Provincial Secretary of PRCS Sindh appreciated the active participation and dedication of volunteers throughout the training. He also distributed certificates to the participants as a token of recognition for their commitment to humanitarian service.
