PRCS Strengthens Flood Preparedness in Sindh with CDRTs and Early Warnings

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh is actively working to strengthen flood preparedness in Sindh

Community Disaster Response Teams (CDRTs) are mobilized across vulnerable districts to support local communities.

Early warnings from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) are shared with communities. This helps families stay alert and take safety steps in advance. PRCS volunteers also conduct awareness sessions on preparedness, evacuation planning, and response actions.
