The Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh (PRCS Sindh) organized an Introductory Meeting and Orientation Session

 for Health Volunteers on October 17, 2025 Aimed at strengthening humanitarian health response and volunteer engagement.

The session was graced by the Provincial Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, and Health Committee Member, Dr. Majid, who emphasized the importance of volunteerism in advancing the mission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The objective of the PRCS Sindh Health Volunteers Orientation Session was to develop and retain a trained and motivated pool of health volunteers capable of supporting emergency medical response, first aid, and community health outreach initiatives across Sindh.

During the first half of the event, PRCS leadership engaged participants in an insightful discussion on volunteerism, the RCRC Movement’s humanitarian principles, and the vital contribution of health volunteers in promoting public well-being and resilience.

The second half featured interactive sessions facilitated by various PRCS departments, including Health, Operations/Disaster Management, Youth & Volunteer, and Climate units. Volunteers also participated in team-building activities designed to foster teamwork, leadership, and collaboration among peers.

The participants, primarily medical and allied health professionals, expressed their commitment to utilizing their expertise in service to humanity.
