PRCS Climate Change Strategy 2025–2029 | Orientation Session at PHQ
An important orientation session on the PRCS Climate Change Strategy 2025–2029 took place at PHQ, led by DD CCA, Mr. Sajad Kandhir.
The session introduced the new strategy and highlighted its shift from general preparedness to a clear, action-oriented approach. It now mainstreams Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) across key sectors, including Disaster Risk Reduction, Livelihoods, and Health.
The strategy places strong emphasis on early warning systems, climate-proof livelihood models, and new digital health innovations.
These initiatives will help communities respond faster and build long-term climate resilience. Moreover, the plan encourages collaboration, improves local capacity, and promotes sustainable practices at all levels.
With these steps, PRCS is moving toward a more adaptive and climate-resilient future. The orientation session helped teams understand their roles and prepare for effective implementation of the strategy.
