Consul General of Oman Praises Red Crescent Sindh Services During Official Visit

Karachi – July 27, 2025:
The services of the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch were highly appreciated by Eng. Sami Abdullah Saleem Al-Khanjari, the Consul General of Oman, during his official visit to the Provincial Headquarters in Karachi.

Upon arrival, the Consul General was warmly received by Chairman Mr. Muhammad Rehan Hashmi and Provincial Secretary Mr. Kanwar Waseem. A comprehensive presentation and a short documentary were showcased, highlighting the wide-ranging humanitarian activities of Red Crescent Sindh across the province.

During the visit, the Consul General interacted with the dedicated staff, volunteers, and prominent community members who actively support the Red Crescent’s mission. He commended the efforts made in disaster response, first aid, and community health services.

He expressed admiration for the leadership of Mr. Rehan Hashmi and Mr. Kanwar Waseem, noting that the Red Crescent’s commitment to serving humanity is “remarkable.” He also assured his support in resource generation and collaboration for future humanitarian initiatives.

In a significant gesture, Chairman Mr. Muhammad Rehan Hashmi offered First Aid and life-saving training to the staff and security personnel of the Omani Consulate in Karachi, reaffirming Red Crescent Sindh’s role in building community resilience.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Red Crescent Training Institute, where the Consul General was briefed by the training coordinator about various certified courses designed to empower communities with emergency response skills.
